Wayne County Pre-Kindergarten

Welcome to the Wayne County Pre-K Program

Georgia's Pre-K Program is a lottery-funded educational program for all age-eligible four-year-old children in Georgia.  The purpose of Georgia's Pre-K Program is to prepare children for success in Kindergarten and later school years.

The Wayne County Pre-K Program strives to deliver exemplary early care and education programs that improve the quality of early learning experiences, increase school readiness, and improve overall school performance.

Children four years of age on September 1 of the current school year who are Georgia residents are eligible to attend Georgia's Pre-K Program during this school year.  Because Georgia's Pre-K Program is voluntary, there may not be enough spaces in every community for all four-year-olds who wish to participate.
